Terms of Use & Conditions
Upon retaining our services, the hiring party agrees to these terms of use & conditions. An employee's submission of a resume or application through this website is acceptance of these terms of use & conditions in addition to, & including, their work agreement.

The hiring party must maintain a Worksafe BC account & number, under which, Medic One staff will be covered.
Quotes & contract agreements are based on 1 attendant on site unless otherwise stated.
The hiring party may be subject to gas and travel expenses where applicable.
Where only 1 medic is retained it is up to the hiring company to provide an emergency driver.
Purpose of this clause? In the case of an emergency, the medic must be able to stay with the injured worker in the back of the mobile treatment center.

The medic may appoint a by-stander/employee to drive the ETV to medical aide or hospital if no driver or partner medic is provided as part of the work agreement.
All medics, OFA3 & EMR attendants must have a valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract. They must also maintain valid first aid tickets and submit them to their employer, Medic One, to be posted on the company website for easy access upon demand by any inspecting office. It is the responsibility of each medic to ensure they are renewing their tickets in a timely fashion so as to NOT impact or delay bookings with clients of Medic One.

ETV's provided by the hiring party must have a vehicle inspection report inside the cab for the medic to complete upon pick up & drop off. The ETV must also adhere to OH&S regulations and be regularly inspected, and, defects must be immediately remedied.

ETV's provided by Medic One are subject to extra charges billed to the hiring party - over & above & separate from the pay rate stated for the first aid attendant's time.

Every employee of Medic One must appear for drug and alcohol screening immediately upon demand, at the request of their employer, Medic One.
Medic One assumes no liability for injured workers or other hazards in relation to delivery of services.
